Cozy Up! Vintage Quilts Reveal Special Charm

When we visited the Quilts of Gee's Bend exhibit at the DeYoung museum, we were moved by comments of the quilters in the text accompanying each panel.
They had used old household textiles, including clothing and yard goods, to make their simple, earthy works of art. As we looked at them hanging on the gallery walls, we wondered how those fabrics had been used originally. Which pieces came from work clothes? An old dress? The end of a bolt of fabric?
So we wonder about the vintage quilts we sell at Timeless Treasures. Here are snapshots of three recent arrivals. Whether you are looking for one to use on a bed or as a throw or to hang on a wall, we can suggest a variety of options among the ones we have gathered in New England and the Midwest. Give us a call for details about these beauties, or to request a personal showing of our expanded collection.
