Seen around town

It turns out that a number of antique furnishings and equipment had been left behind from the storefront's previous incarnations as a neighborhood butcher shop or market.
Among a group of old signs they incorporated into their new design was one that read FRESH, but minus the letter E. (Inexplicably, the original E on the sign had been painted over.)
Here you can see the restored sign, including a large vintage E that Melanie chose at Timeless Treasures.
Old sign letters also played a cameo role in a TV commercial shot a few weeks ago in Marin County. Producer Mikey Pitchers was working on a project for Toyota and needed props for building a set. He chose letters at Timeless Treasures to arrange on a recycled door panel outside the country-church-turned-crafts-store location. The story line involves, appropriately enough, the significant benefits of having a spacious cargo area for hauling home treasures discovered while antiquing along old country roads. Watch for it!
