So Doggone Cute!

Anyone who has ever been to Timeless Treasures knows that I like (most) dogs. Dogs who visit, that is. I have no illusion about actually owning a dog – but when shoppers bring along their well-behaved dogs, I love to slip them a dog treat and scratch their ears.

So it’s no surprise that the recent visit by a young designer of dog collars and accessories should captivate me. Michelle Meehan, the creative charmer behind Bella Bean Couture, chose old sign letters from the delicious array at Timeless Treasures to spell out LOVE YOUR DOG. It’s now fetchingly displayed (how could I resist?) on the wall of her office/design studio.

We are delighted by the serendipitous timing of Michelle’s visit. Her made-in-the-Bay-Area “dress up” dog collars and leashes strike us as the perfect summer adornment for dogs who will be attending family reunions, weddings and celebrations of all kinds. We have placed our first order, and we expect to have them in mid-June.
