Join us This Saturday & Sunday for Jazz and Art in Our 'Hood!

This Saturday and Sunday (July 1 and 2) we will have a TIMELESS TREASURES booth at the best-of-all San Francisco summer street fairs, the Fillmore Jazz Festival. Look for us at the corner of Pine and Fillmore, right outside Johnny Rockets. Bring your friends and family to hear live music and stroll along Fillmore Street.

In our booth you will find hundreds of VINTAGE SIGN LETTERS, which have long been our passion and delight. For everyone who loves typography and words, there will be plenty of options in wood, metal, plastic and porcelain. Choose your monogram letter for a wall in your home or office. Or get creative with us and spell out a word or phrase. Jenny and Anna, two ace women of words wacky and wise, will brainstorm and assist you.

Already we have heard from a customer who plans to pick out LIFE'S A BANQUET for a wall in her new apartment. And our good pal, Hayley, wants dibs on the best big letter P for her soon-to-be new last name. (BTW, according to the latest issue of Country Home magazine, old sign letters are now the number one collectible in America. Whoever would have imagined such popularity for them? We rescued old marquee letters from the now-defunct Regency movie theaters on VanNess Avenue when we first opened on Sutter Street almost 7 years ago!)

Amy Pfaffman and Keith Wooten, San Francisco jewelry artists, will join us to sell their fabulous contemporary jewelry. Amy will bring along her sterling silver little letters to assemble custom necklaces for you. Keith hopes to inspire you with his hand-cast sterling hearts and a variety of other pieces he creates using semi-precious stones. Plan to pick up gifts for bridesmaids, birthday girls and main squeezes!

Beth Miles, whose San Francisco-made, darling dresses and Bermuda shorts for little girls are now sold at Timeless Treasures , will also be on hand in our booth. Her swiss dot voile and classic seersuckers will dazzle her daddy and delight her mom. (We predict that every Auntie and Uncle will be swooning over Beth's table of temptations for tykes.)

So do come and have fun with us this weekend at the Fillmore Jazz Fair! Remember that it's from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 1 and 2. For details, click on http://www.fillmorejazzfestival.com.
