Martha Wasacz, a San Francisco art director and fiber artist, ventured by Timeless Treasures last Saturday in search of something to contain and organize her growing collection of yarn.
She and her husband Dirk chose six vintage metal locker baskets, rescued from a gym in Washington and now available at Timeless Treasures.
Back at her studio, Martha mounted the wire baskets on a wall, with the open section facing outward. Now she can see at a glance what supplies she's got on hand without having to play "Which-storage-box-could-that-gorgeous-blue-yarn-be-in?"
We call that clever!
BTW, you can see examples of Martha's art direction and design at www.thirty-six.com.
