Spell Simon? How cool is that!

No sooner had we decided to experiment with creating words and phrases for people who live outside San Francisco (scroll down and read Letters Long Distance) than we heard from Heather in Alberta, Canada.
She and her family are moving to a new house and she wants to spell her young son's name on the wall in his room. "I am looking for the letters S, I, M, O, N, none matching, preferably metal, between 8-14 inches," she wrote, "and I'm open to upper and lower case depending on the combination as a whole."
At Timeless Treasures we put together a couple of different options using old sign letters, emailed snapshots of the possibilities, traded a couple of more emails with Heather and created the final version that you see here laid out on the sidewalk on Sutter Street. We've got our fingers crossed that Simon says, "That's cool, Mom!"
