Vintage sign letters warm up cool design

When photo stylist Sandie Gasser was on the hunt for props for a "Modern Country" look for the newest catalogue from West Elm, she chose vintage sign letters from Timeless Treasures.
If you look very closely on the wall above the sideboard on the left, you can see letters in a variety of typefaces, materials and sizes, all unified by the color white. Sandie's choice of a group of random letters instead of a specific word or phrase keeps the focus on the typographical elements.
We're inspired by the way Sandie and other photo stylists use vintage decor details to bring a sense of fun and personal style to clean, contemporary design. Sophisticated but not stuffy, intriguing conversation starter but never precious. . .
