Fresh Jewelry, Yummy for Summer

One of the major delights of having my own shop is discovering unusual, beautifully made products that reflect special attention to detail.

Two jewelry designers, Marion Elliott of San Francisco and Kathy Hartmann of Chapel Hill, N.C., are producing imaginative, playful necklaces that we think are destined to become timeless treasures. If you're on a search for a unique piece of jewelry to freshen your summer look, or for a gift for a special birthday or other occasion, we think we've discovered just the ticket.

Look at how Marion combines quartz crystals, freshwater pearls and glass hearts with gold and silver wire to create one-of-a-kind, stunning necklaces with an organic twist.

Kathy worked with furnace glass in all shades of turquoise, pale blue and green to come up with this striking necklace.
We're also big fans of her faceted blue beads with petite crystals. We think each necklace would transform a crisp white shirt into something spectacular.

Priced from $60 to $295, these four special gems are just a sample to tempt you to pop by soon and see what's new!
