signs of the season

We love receiving e-mail, especially when it's accompanied by snapshots that Show & Tell.
First, from Mary Sullivan, a marketing consultant and writer who recently traded life in the Bay Area to return to Oregon, comes this JOY-ous photo of old sign letters she bought from Timeless Treasures and hung on the front of her house. "We’re having a rare Arctic blast, with snow and very icy temperatures," Mary writes. "Everyone says this is highly unusual. I hope so!"
She says she loves seeing the snow, although the ice and bitter cold wind are no fun. "But my JOY out front warms things up!" she adds.
In Ferndale, Calif., Chelsey Branstetter makes it easy for Santa to determine whose stocking he's filling. She ties a vintage letter of the first initial of a family member to each stocking hanging by the mantle. Chelsey chose the vintage letters at Timeless Treasures earlier this fall, and says she "LLLOOOVVVVEEEE"s the way her holiday decor turned out.
And one of our favorite wordsmiths commented,"I notice that you have lots and lots of old letters, but no L." Noel? Hah!
Happy Holidays to all!
