Dan's her little man!

Sometimes the best things do come in small packages. Like baby boys, and letters to spell out their names.
This week we heard from Sunita Rao, a mom from Marin County, who dropped by Timeless Treasures a while back to choose small letters to spell out her new baby's name in his room. We are charmed by how Sunita created this delightful shadowbox for baby Dan Zidane.
The vintage letters range from about 1 to 3 inches high and are made from old plastic, rubber, metal and painted wood. . . little letters that make a big statement for a little guy!

We spy: Domino magazine showcases old sign letters in a Brooklyn brownstone

Domino magazine treats readers to a tour of the recently renovated Brooklyn brownstone that's home to Jenna Lyons, creative director of J. Crew, and her family.
Naturally we are ga-ga over the old sign letters and letter blocks that spell out their baby's name, Beckett, above the mantel in the nursery, as you can see in this photo by Melanie Acevedo.
Domino describes the home as "a study in unexpected contrasts: luxe meets humble, formal meets playful--adding up to a whole new definition of elegance."
