New Treasures from La Vie Parisienne jewelry are just what the Easter bunny oughta bring

Talk about pretty! The newest arrivals from La Vie Parisienne, the French jewelry line created by Catherine Popesco, are sure to dazzle you. Do you know the story behind these pretty baubles?
The collection originates in old Parisian workshops established over 200 years ago. The elegant designs are rendered from original molds and stampings created by the artists of the celebrated Nouveau and Deco periods from 1900 through the 1930s.

Each piece from La Vie is painstakingly detailed by hand following traditional artisanal methods. Most pieces are made of “old silver” or “14 carat gold”, a unique French process of layering silver or gold over copper to bring out relief and detail. All crystals are hand set and the enameling is done with tiny brushes.

Manufactured at Au Bout de Reves, a workshop Catherine herself built on a vineyard in the heart of the Loire Valley, each piece is rendered from the original molds and stamping, hand set with Austrian crystals and finally painstakingly enameled by her team of highly skilled artisans.

Here are just a few examples of LaVie. We think it makes a luscious gift, for yourself or anyone who appreciates French design. Tres jolie, n'est ce pas?

Now the only problem will be deciding which one you must have. And the best choice for your sister-in-law who has a birthday coming up. And the one to give your favorite friend who loves every natural creeping, crawly and flying creature on earth...
