big letters for a little guy

Several weeks ago, on a Saturday early evening just as we were about to close up shop, two young moms arrived at Timeless Treasures on Sutter Street after a four and a half-mile drive from Ferndale.
They were on the prowl for vintage sign letters, and we couldn't resist staying open way past quitting time to help them choose exactly what they wanted.
Last week, we heard from Kristina Radelfinger, one of the moms who had made the trip with her pal, Sara. The letters Kristina chose are up on the wall of her son Kyler's room and, according to Mom, "he LOVES it, and so do I. Everyone who sees it thinks it's so neat." Now, Kristina adds, she's waiting for Kyler's 3-year old sister to "notice that she doesn't have her name in her room," and asked that we "be on the lookout for S-I-E-N-N-A."
Another request for vintage letters came our way this week. Holli, a soon-to-be-mom in Atlanta, wants vintage letters to spell her daughter-to-be's name in her nursery. Holli's request sheds some light on the reason for the increasing number of on-line requests we are receiving.
Holli writes: "We are doing an eco-friendly/sustainability-focused nursery for our baby girl on the way. I really love the idea of utilizing vintage sign letters to spell her name over the crib. I googled this notion and up popped your website."
She went on to describe the letters she needs, as well as her design preference for "any size, color, material, etc...the more diverse the better!" Over the next few days, Erin and Jenny P., two design-savvy part-time staffers at Timeless Treasures, will see what we've got in store for her.
