It ain't braggin' if someone else says somethin' real nice

We are just catching up with a write-up that appeared a few weeks ago on a local design site, Apartment Therapy.

Guest columnist Victoria Smith offers tips and comments about interior design, including how she uses old sign letters from Timeless Treasures to make her apartment in San Francisco stylish and fun. Here is the link to her column:

Naturally we are pleased as punch by her comments, and we thank Victoria for spreading the word about us. If her ideas intrigue you, come on over and we will help you come up with something creative for your own little slice of heaven.

What is it about cats?

A few weeks ago I found this painted wooden kitty doorstop at a small antique shop in New England and brought it back to San Francisco. There is something so appealing about it. Who made it, and when? Was it a wood shop project for a teenager? Of course we will never know, but it is fun to speculate.

We think this kitty would be a fun prop for your door or to keep a small group of books from tipping over in your bookshelf.

For the cat fancier on your holiday gift list, it would also make a marvelous addition to a collection of folk art.
