when nikki and eric got married

A few months ago our great pals, Nikki and Eric, were married outdoors at South Park in San Francisco. To set off their wedding site from the rest of the park, they used a screen made from recycled wooden doors salvaged at Building Resources in Bayview. And, lest there be any mistake about who was getting married in this lovely setting, the happy couple used vintage sign letters and a heart-shaped metal band that they found at Timeless Treasures .

Nikki, who worked at our Sutter Street shop for a couple of years after quitting her corporate career in marketing and publishing, still moonlights for us as our internet guru. But she has moved on in her career and now sells residential real estate in San Francisco with Pacific Union. You can see what she's up to at www.NikkiGunn.com

If you are after a perfect wedding gift, or want to create a personal statement in your own home, stop in and look over our bins and drawers of old letters. Let a word or phrase strike you, and then spell it out using letters from a half-inch to 18 inches high. Remember to ask Jenny or Hayley to show you our collection of ampersands, too.
