here kitty, kitty... how does your garden grow?

Before summer disappears, we encourage you to gather a few plants at the nursery, check out our selection of vintage plant stands and garden ornaments and enjoy some time out in the fresh air.

At Timeless Treasures we have gathered vintage iron plant stands with charming old paint, as well as a few garden ornaments to bring delight to your petite plot here or more spacious surroundings in Napa or Sonoma.

When it comes to adding personal details to a patio or garden, our hands-down favorite is this charming vintage kitty cat ($125), found at an estate sale in Maine, and fashioned of old iron that shows vestiges of paint and rust. With a long sturdy stake to poke into the ground or a deep pot of soil, this kitty would add a whimsical touch to any decor.

We also have a vintage French iron plant stand that photo stylist Ana Gonzalez featured in a recent Pottery Barn Bed & Bath catalogue layout. Filled with orchid plants, this small-scale planter added an elegant detail to the photo spread. Now that Ana has concluded her PB shoot, this iron piece is back in stock ($225) and available to add a decor detail at your place.

A vintage spiral planter in old green paint ($185) and a Victorian, two-tiered curly wire stand ($625) offer several options for displaying plants or other collections. We also have a fan-shaped vintage wooden trellis ($140), weathered and worn with old white paint.

Last week someone stopped in and chose vintage sign letters to spell TOMATO on the fence in her garden. Creative and clever, yes? And another neighbor stopped by for a small painted iron patio table.

As August begins in earnest, we hope you will stop by and choose a treasure that will allow summer to linger longer at your place.
