and she lived happily ever after

When we first began carrying luscious sterling silver bracelets by Oregon artist Sandy Comstock, our instant favorite was this one. On the outside of the cuff you see three small flowers. Inside, there are the words and she lived happily ever after.
Ah, we agreed. It would be a superb gift for, say, a bride-to-be from her bridesmaids.
But, as if to show us that our customers think waaaaay outside the box, we have heard six, yes six, women say they are buying this precious little gem of encouragement for a woman friend who is going through a tough time.
Usually it involves heartbreak or loss, and this bracelet will be a perfect reminder that life does indeed go on, and that she is not alone! Life will serve up more happiness and good times, and this lucky talisman is a constant touchstone.
We still like the idea of a bunch of friends choosing it for a wonderful pal about to be married. But who are we to say?
Our friend Amy, who has a marvelous online boutique (http:///www.inspireco.com), wears another design that her husband bought for her at Timeless Treasures when they visited last spring.
So when you want to say life is a journey, not a destination; enjoy the moments, or remember I am always here for you or just a simple reminder to breathe, we can help you put it into beautiful words.
